  I’m responsible for bringing CATAPULT’s spirit and message to the city of Basel, and for making as many people as possible aware of what we offer. I work across various media, but primarily with social media and print.

  My responsibilities include everything to do with funding projects and further developing our funding schemes. So if you submit a project, I’m your point of contact. Among other things, I focus on how we can make our funding schemes as fair, democratic and accessible as possible. To this end, I organise the large decision-making events with Yağmur (and the smaller ones on my own 🥲).

  Together with Luisa, I’m responsible for ensuring that CATAPULT can achieve its goals and continue to develop. My responsibilities include annual planning, coordinating existing resources, and coaching the working groups on funding platform development and knowledge retention. I’m also responsible for fundraising.

  Together with Luan, I manage the administrative framework (organisational development, finance, HR, etc.) and we jointly lead CATAPULT. In addition, I support and coach the Community Building, Funding Management and Visibility working groups in their planning and tasks, and am there for them whenever questions arise.

  At CATAPULT, I work as a Nexialist. This means I handle everything to do with knowledge management, lessons learnt and evaluation. I carry out impact assessments and monitor whether CATAPULT is on track, whether we’re achieving our goals and where we can improve further.

  Together with the web design company Prolog, I ensure that this website and the digital funding management system are accessible and functioning properly. I act as a liaison between the needs of the team, the applicants and Prolog. I also support Jasmine with funding management.

  I’m responsible for the participatory opportunities at CATAPULT. Among other things, I organise the large decision-making events alongside Jasmine. I focus on questions such as: What opportunities are there to get involved at CATAPULT, which young people should we be targeting, and how can we reach them?

  After several years in the film industry and studying process design at the Academy of Art and Design in Basel, I combine my experience with a focus on storytelling and spatial design. I’m particularly interested in promoting representation, involvement and participation in processes of social change. My holistic approach aims to create accessible access to more inclusive spaces that incorporate diverse perspectives and encourage people to get actively involved.
