Salon #2

«Salon» is an exhibition format at Villa Bannwart for artists in and connected to Basel to show their performance work, receive feedback and connect from the 11 - 13 October 2024. Salon is a format for experimentation and for trying things, participants can choose where and how they wish to perform in the Villa. For the second edition, we wish to also host artist talks and more opportunities for the participating artists to connect. We encourage anyone interested in performance to apply, regardless of background. During Salon #1, 17 artists participated in 10 performances in one day. All 17 were connected to Basel and the majority were under the age of 30. We received overwhelmingly positive feedback from the artists and audience on the format and many requests to do a second edition.
