Syunya Jewellery

I started this project two months ago, and it is still a work in progress. I am creating jewelry with my unique designs, exploring various approaches and enjoying the experimentations. Much of my inspiration is drawn from delving into the motifs of ethnic Ukrainian jewellery, characterized by large beads, metal circles, pompons, and vibrant colors. My goal is to rethink, preserve, remember, and attempt to recreate elements that provide me with a space for experimentation. In addition to combining existing beads and shapes, I also enjoy crafting my own. I find joy in sewing and witnessing unexpected results. Working with textiles has provided me with another avenue to reflect on my culture.
